Just the right size for the GPS unit: not too big, not too small. Fits in a (larger) pocket. Protects the unit against normal incidental impacts. Apparently durable construction.
After buying the TomTom One 140S (which is terrific, by the way), I wanted to get a carrying case for it. I do a lot of traveling around the USA, and I wanted to make sure my TomTom was protected while in my carrying case while on planes, etc. I bought the TomTom One Carrying Case (blue), and I found it to be almost too small for the 140S. It just barely fits with the attached window mount often making it hard to zip up the case. Also, while unzipping the case, the little leather-like tab connected to the zipper broke off. The zipper’s okay, but now it’s hard to zip up without the tab. That all said, once the 140S is in the case, it’s obvious that it’s durable enough to protect the 140S from a drop or scratches. I would’ve been happier if the case was a just a tad bigger and the little tab stronger, but it seems to do the job.
I was bit disappointed that the case does not have room for the car adapter. It holds only Tom Tom and the windshield mount. Would have preferred all three pieces to fit in the case.
