I purchased a Garmin Nuvi and have been using it for several months. One problem I encountered is that the end of the 12V (cigarette lighter) adapter came unscrewed and the parts inside fell out–a spring, fuse, etc. The second time this happened I couldn’t find all of the parts so the cable was useless! I purchased this cable as a replacement and it seems to fit and work perfectly with the Garmin.

I bought it from Amazon that was selling it cheaper than other internet sellers. I got it fast and have been using it everyday since then. It is a quality cable that powers my Garmin Street Pilot as it suppose to.

    Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)

You gotta really force the plug into the back of the GPS but once plugged in, it charges the GPS really well. The plug does not come out while driving or moving.

Just so you know, I have the Garmin c550.
