I bought this base on the previous reviewer because they use it with the same model TomTom Go630 I have. I was a little worried because I’d read elsewhere that this type of mount is prone to wobbling and rotating on it’s own in the socket. This is not the case here, even while using the touch screen and power button. It’s very steady and stable while driving. It could be improved a little by allowing it to rotate right at the mount as well as between the 2 elbows but I was still able to configure it so it’s visible and doesn’t interfere with vehicles controls and readouts.
Suction cups in cars never work for me; hot and cold weather, units dropping on the floor risking damage, and in the way of window shades. This is an excellent product for the recommended models of TomTom Go (I have a 630 not listed), with firm connection to the cigarette lighter outlet, distance from dash, power outlet built-in, and adjustability. No cons to this from me, all pros. Highly recommend+++
